[House, Electro, Breakbeat]
Who is That Girl DJ? Starting out under the watchful eye of mentors
Vigi and Mr B (Streetwise Recordings / Boomslang), That Girl DJ has
quickly made her way into the scene and moved up the ranks over the
past 2 years.
Sets at Herbal, Urban Nights and Lockside Lounge in London, Ambush in Nottingham, Future Funk in Sheffield, Gobbstopper in Taunton, Spectrum in Leicester and the Secret Garden Party have made her a name to watch out for! Add to that her residency at the Breakspoll award-nominated Boomslang in Cambridge (supporting artists such as Stanton Warriors, Atomic Hooligan, Plump DJs, Scratch Perverts, Lee Mortimer and many more) and you have a rising star in the house and breaks scene.
When she's not rocking the dancefloor, That Girl DJ hosts the monthly Boomslang Beats show on NSB Radio, the worlds biggest breaks radio station, playing a monthly two-hour selection of her own flavour of electro, house and breakbeat.
Her first tune Mi Casa Su Casa came out in Summer 2008 backed up by wicked remixes from Sam Hell and Australia's Karl Sav, receiving plays on Kiss FM and Radio 1 Xtra. Remixes for Platinum Mules and White Knights are due this Summer on ReConnect and the legendary Champion Records. Her next release is Noise / Go Commando due out in October 2009 with plenty of remix action on the go for release in late 2009/2010.
