Egyptrixx, aka David Psutka, is a Toronto based producer and DJ. He has a style that dips its toes in many musical puddles, bringing together elements of dubstep and traditional house references and even touching on some ghettotech and booty.
It's about monstrous bass lines and twitchy rhythms, and the openness of his approach is attracting attention from forward-thinking DJs like Brooklyn hotshots Drop the Lime and AC Slater.
In the year since he began producing and DJing as Egyptrixx David has played all over North America, this fall he'll be in the UK for the first time. His genre agnostic DJ sets and mixtapes are known for their creativity and energy.
Signed to England's Wide Records, Egyptrixx is also slated for releases with Kanji Kinetic's Electrostimulation records as well as various remix projects. His bass heavy techno and dubstep tracks have been mashing genres and attracting lots of attention all over the globe.
