With a combined 38 years of DJ experience under their belts, is there any question to the dedication, skills and love that DJ D.M.X. and DEEJAY DIABOLIC bring to the tables everytime the needle hits the record?
Both of these veterans bring a focused "Can Do, Will Do" attitude to a scene of mediocre bleeps and blips that too many just shuffle their feet to!
Armed to the hilt with weapons called breaks, drum and bass, house, hip-hop and whatever else within reach, they bring a much needed hurricane of fresh air into any dancefloor in crisis!! David aka D.M.X., a 24 year veteran and founder of Colorado's most infamous crew, the 303 Collective, holds down residencies in all 4 time zones, and hosts a weekly podcast with a worldwide audience of about 3000 listeners.
Dennis aka debo aka Deejay Diabolic touched his first pair of turntables back in 1993 and hasn't slowed down since! Holding down a 1 rated radio show for 2 years, "Da Down Low Mix-show" he quickly established the name Diabolic as the DJ to watch out for! Highly revered in Fort Collins, CO as a key individual in bringing Electronic music there, Diabolic continues to do that everywhere he goes. Holding residencies at multiple clubs across Colorado, this guy's energy behind the tables is Contagious and Skull Splitting!
The collaboration of these two skilled decknicians is exciting, but mix in 2 parts "Energy", 3 parts "Passion", season it with "Dedication", stir in the "Love" of the music and unbelievable sense for dancefloor control, The end result is D-unit! While D.M.X. and Diabolic have navigated the same scene for Years, it was only now in 2007 that they have joined forces to create something bold within a scene that is full of Mannequin DJs...
The birth of D-unit came about to shatter the notion of what DJ's do and how they do it! If you wanna hear some minimal, go nowhere fast music, book the other guy... but if you absolutely require that your dancefloor be explosive, then book the tag-team dynamo of DJ D.M.X. and Deejay Diabolic, just call em D-Unit!
