Alex Tomb (CY)

Alex Tomb aka Alexis Toumpouris was born on the 5th of September 1985 in Cyprus. The 22 year old talent had the passion for electronic music since the early years of his life and bought 2 turntables and a mixer to start DJing at the age of 16.

In 2003 & 2004, Alex took 5th place at the DJ Smirnoff Competitions which gained him more experience and increased his popularity. He was now DJing regularly at numerous events and has even played alongside the likes of G-Pal, AMX and Hernan Cattaneo. Furthermore, Alex had gigs at The Gallery, Turnmills, Unit 7, The Yaght Club, London as well as in Berlin.

His style is described mainly as techno, heavily influenced by minimal style. Although young,his sets have proven to be intelligent and of high caliber. The music is meticulously structured as he understands the energies inherent in each track and puts them together to create a positive and exciting musical journey.

Alex's goal is to take music professionally therefore studying music technology and production in the UK at the moment. We will definitely be hearing a lot more of Alex...
