[House, Progrsv House, Ambient]

A chance meeting in a pub in 1997 in Chichester was the beginning of all things Spiritchaser/Orekid. Richard Earnshaw & Mark Bamford whilst supping a pint of best discovered they had a similar view on music, amongst other things!

To start things off were a string of releases on notorious deep house label Niche Records. Concentrating mainly on creating original music they still managed to rack up some tasty remixes with the likes of Dido (BMG), Nina Jayne (BMG), Dave Storm (Ceremony) amongst others.

In 2004, Spiritchaser became part of newly formed Guess Records alongside it's sister label Duffnote, and a few broken years of production paid off with a newly found zest for music making. With a healthy selection of releases on Guess and the provisional ideas of an album taking shape, it looks to be a busy time for the boys.

And as if that wasn't enough, they are also recording under the Orekid monika... their first release "Yesterday's Gone" released on One51 Recordings in 2003. So plenty going on so keep an eye on this page for news and music... Stay lucky!
