Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Cologne Henri Kohn was educated in his early years by his fathers extensive collection of jazz and quality black music. After been revolutionized by rap music and taking part in breakdancing competitions...

...in his youth Henri was kissed by the beauty of house, taping music from the radio. By the age of 15, he sneaked himself into the Cologne nightlife dancing the night away in dark and sweaty clubs and by the age of 17, he landed his first residencies at various clubs in Cologne, playing Chicago and Detroit influenced sound.

Since then Henri has become a pillar of the house scene in Germany, with residencies at most of the top clubs in the area and other German cities, as well as successful spots on the Balearic Islands. Henri has taken the step up to the international DJ circuit in the last few years and has played all over Germany, in the U.S, France, Spain, Greece, Russia, Switzerland, Poland, Italy and the U.K. Henri Kohn proves that it does not need a hit single to be a serious DJ, though after almost 14 years behind the decks, the debut single is in the pipeline for 2007.

To him House Music is a Healer that brings people from all cultural backgrounds together on the same dancefloor to have a good time. Henri Kohn is known to bring people in the Zone with his skills of reading the crowd and picking the right record at the right time. No matter if bigroom, frontroom, backroom, terrace or the beach, he loves preaching his vision of house to any crowd, thanks to a wide horizon and taste of electronic music to choose from.

With extensive radio experience and his current position as A&R at Clubstar & Conya Records and Press and P&R Head Honcho of Soulstar, Little Angel & Lola's World, Henri continues to be an in-demand DJ who describes his style as House Music For Grownups... tribal-, techy-, deep-, jazzy-, afro-, vocal-, electro-, oldskool-, broken-beat, straight-beat, offbeat... unbeatable high quality music... whatever... as long as it got soul!
